My interest in photography can be attributed to my father taking me along to Lincoln Camera Club as a teenager. During this time, I played with a Box Brownie, a twin lens reflex of some description, and a little Minolta 110. I still have slides from this time.
As often happens life gets hectic and photography took a back stage. It is only with the advent of digital photography that my interest has rekindled. I used to shoot for camera club competitions, but these days I like to try to be more expressive creating a body of work rather than a single image.
I enjoy experimenting with various effects, creating work with a converted Infra-red camera and using a Lens Baby. I still make landscape images and I attempt reportage, but try to make a cohesive selection of images that I enjoy presenting at the Print Project Group.
