I started taking photography seriously in 2009, after taking early retirement from a forty-year career in the computer industry. I enjoyed the additional challenge of monochrome photography, so I joined the Print Project Group in 2012. However, in January 2014, the group was in danger of closing. The founders wanted to step back from organising it and I suddenly found myself running the group!
I enjoy taking photographs of people and places – which covers most things. However, when trying to get the best out of monochrome photography, I still have a lot to learn and enjoy the challenge of doing so.
