Fisher, Jackie

For many years my photography was of the family and holiday record style but became serious about it 6 or 7 years ago when, on holiday in Norway, my husband had forgotten the charger for my point-and-shoot camera and I used one of his cameras.  On the basis of ‘’if you can’t beat them join them” I started more serious work.

I do need to be interested in a subject in order to make photographs of it rather than use a scatter-gun approach of many exposures although I understand that digital exposures do not have a cost implication other than the equipment.  Like my husband I now use Micro-Four-Thirds equipment.
