Gibson, Colin

I don’t profess that my way of working is the correct or only approach but it is the way I try – most of the time.  The landscape, to name only one subject, on its own or used as a backdrop to examples of architecture such as power stations, windmills, trees and rock outcrops.  Whatever the subject you choose there are other elements you should consider:  The quality and direction of the light, an interesting area of sky and a good viewpoint.

Persevere and return to your idea or viewpoint for new inspiration.  There is no hurry. Enjoy your photography.
