When I first started to print in the darkroom in 1985 I was instantly hooked on monochrome photography. I use a number of old film cameras, both 35mm and medium format. I also shoot with wooden pinhole cameras. It is the whole process I enjoy, from choosing the film to printing the final image. Although I do have a digital camera, I just prefer the more hands on approach of film photography.
