I have produced photographs for most of my life after watching my father print exhibition images in his own darkroom when I was youngster. Later on I qualified as a lecturer whilst teaching photography and also ran photography evening classes for a number of years. I have experimented with many 'alternative' photographic processes and have ideas for some innovative new ones too, although I now mostly shoot digitally.
I tend to prefer to create images that stand out as being different and currently I mostly photograph people. Many of my images have been included in prestigious publications including BBC TV's Countryfile Calendar, as well as in coffee table books with titles such as The Worlds Greatest Black & White Photography, The World's Greatest Erotic Art of Today, and The Photography Yearbook. My photography has also been the subject of numerous magazine interviews and I was, for a number of years, a regular contributor to one of the world's biggest magazine publishing empires after being invited to shoot for them.
